I have been reading this forum since last May. Based on what I read, yes, it seemed 3 to 6 months was how long the process took. The process might be slowed down now because of the Equip changes. There are several mentioning they haven't even filled it out yet and are several weeks into the process. I know leaving a school part way through is a worst case scenario but you also have to be able to eat and care for yourself and possibly a family. It sucks but you might have to ...See More

Yes, the timing/logistics can be awkward at times but you just try to soldier through and do the best you can under the circumstances. It's great that the school is being supportive but be aware that principals can start to get a little tense if it looks like they may end up being short a teacher in the classroom.
