I was wondering if anyone on this site had any experience at teaching at Fort Knox or any thoughts on this particular location. Thank you!

I worked there most of last school-year and loved it. My daughter attended the school and also loved it. We lived on post within walking distance of the school. I appreciated most of the people I worked with and felt it was a fairly strong team.

I did end up getting this job. We are in the process of transitioning and are extremely excited! I see you were able to live on base. My wife and I are very interested in doing so however it looks like there aren't as many options for non-active duty DOD civilians. Did you have many options when you were there?

There is a neighborhood directly across from the high school. Between the high school and MacDonald ES (which may not be used anymore- it was in the process of being closed). That neighborhood recently had new siding and windows installed. This was very convenient, because I could walk to work and it was close to the gate that is closest to Walmart...See More

I will say that the floor plan was only three bedrooms and was actually smaller than our current (4 bedroom) home in Japan (except the kitchen was bigger). If you need a larger home, you may want to post your questions on the Fort Knox Facebook pages.
