Teaching Jobs on Teachers.Net

This may be an obvious question, but it threw me off a bit when I read it. I have two separate logins (one for USA jobs and one for the EAS system). I saw the job postings for Dodea on USA jobs, but this disclaimer was written under it:

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: If you are interested in applying, please follow this link, do not apply via USAJOBS.

Link: https://webapps.dodea.edu/eas/login.cfm

Applications submitted to USAJOBS WILL NOT receive consideration.

I was under the impression that you apply first on USA jobs (which has basically only your resume uploaded) and then your qualifications and official documentation( 5013 forms, transcripts, license) is then linked to application and reviewed.

Thanks for your clarification
haha Nope. Other than jobs like the ISS positions or GS level (non-teaching) jobs, you must apply directly through EAS to be considered for teaching positions with DoDEA.

USA jobs is where the jobs are posted, and when you click to apply there it...See More

DoDEA rarely, if ever, advertises actual, specific teaching...See More

HelpOthers @SocialStudiesLivinginJapan, True. When a vacancy occurs, a principal requests qualified individuals from the pool of candidates in EAS. HR sends a list and the principal with assistance from secretaries, etc., choose who to interview and call or e-mail to schedule interviews. There are no actual announcements made for a vacancy, except internally ...See More
