I would contact HR to let them know of the timeline. If the school has already notified them and they are reviewing your qualifications before making you the offer, they may speed up the process if they know you have another interview.

HR was not really helpful. I explained my situation and all they said, "you can go on many interviews and it's whoever recommends you first." Also, administration between locations has no way of knowing that a candidate has been referred or is interviewing elsewhere in the system.
