May 17 interview
May 18 email saying app was inactivated
June 6 email tentative offer and OF306
June 6 returned it via email immediately
June 8: got an email that I hadn't returned and accepted the offer and had until COB (2 hours to go) to accept or the offer was withdrawn!!! I nearly passed out. I called after re-submitting it and called to verify that it went through. I even sent a pic of the screenshot showing it was sent.
NOTE: call or email to confirm receipt of offer acceptance
My HR rep went to a week long training
June 21 I called to find out when I would get eQip and fingerprint stuff. It hadn't been submitted. She said by Monday I should get the email saying a background investigation was initiated
June 22 I got an email for background check but it had the wrong spelling for my name so it had to be re-submitted

Next you should receive a huge packet with a checklist for Anti-terrorism certification, medical forms, clearance for dependants, birth/marriage certificates, and several things to sign in order to initiate travel orders. I contacted my HR rep yesterday to check in on where my eQip email might be, and the HR rep gave me the name of the security specialist I would be working with. She said without actually saying, that the security specialist has been on leave and will be sending me information "in a few days."

What types of doctor appointments? I'm currently working full-time in a GS position, so I need to request time off from work to take care of things like that. If I know what they want, I can at least get the appointments scheduled and request leave.

Today I emailed the security person and my HR rep to check on the status and my e-fingerprints. I then got an email. In addition to the electronic prints, I now need hard copy prints. Would have been helpful to know last Friday when I did the others. So I'll be doing that in the AM.
