I'm thinking of possibly opening up an application for Europe or Japan for the 2019/2020 school year. I am still a fairly new teacher, only going into my third year, and am certified for Elementary Ed. with the widest range of grade being K-6 (I'm certified in three states). I don't have any additional education based certifications currently, though have an Associates in Architectural Design and a certificate in Architectural Drafting. What can I do throughout this year to help my application and how common are Elementary gen-ed positions?
haha Elementary positions and openings are pretty competitive. There are many applicants in the EAS pool with ES certs but then again there are many positions, ES schools and openings every year.
