Qualification Question

I didn't apply for grades 7 & 8 bc I'm not certified in my state, but they have it listed under elementary positions on the DoDEA website. Why is it listed that way? Technically I'm certified to teach through 5th in my state but qualified for 4-6 with DOD. All I have to do to be state certified is take a test. Any insight?

haha That is an odd way they have it listed. In reality, you would likely need to have MS certifications in specific subjects for it to do much good with DoDEA (from my understanding). I guess it must get used (or have been used in the past) in some locations.
