What can I expect after EQIP? Is that the last step before finalizing employment? I am a local hire so I don't need travel orders. Will I need a physical or any other appts? Is there a process for transferring your teaching license and does that have to be done prior to start date? I have emailed these questions to HR, but she hasn't responded. In fact she hasn't responded to many of my emails... anyone else frustrated with lack of responses from HR? The time difference makes it really inconvenient to call but she doesn't seem to acknowledge/respond to email.
haha I don't believe you will need the physical based on our experiences. There is no transferring of your teaching license. As I recall, you will be given a provisional license by DoDEA. After you are off of provisional status/made permanent, you would will get your permanent DoDEA professional license which is good for 6 years (although it's backdated...See More

HeART Teacher Is it the same with overseas hire? The passport, eqip, and travel order packet are the last bit of paperwork to be completed before the final offer?

haha As far as I recall and have read about the most recent process. Once you have your orders then it's arrange your pack out and confirm travel arrangements.
