I don't believe you will need the physical based on our experiences. There is no transferring of your teaching license. As I recall, you will be given a provisional license by DoDEA. After you are off of provisional status/made permanent, you would will get your permanent DoDEA professional license which is good for 6 years (although it's backdated...See More

Is it the same with overseas hire? The passport, eqip, and travel order packet are the last bit of paperwork to be completed before the final offer?

As far as I recall and have read about the most recent process. Once you have your orders then it's arrange your pack out and confirm travel arrangements.
