My E-QIP was completed and sent back to OPM on July 6th. I've been messaged HR to find out what the next steps are and what I can expect during the hiring process. Today I finally received a message back from my HR representative: "I am forwarding your question to [another rep], she's your HR servicing specialist for [your location] (she is cc'd on this email)." I feel like I now know less than I did before. Has anyone been referred to an "HR servicing specialist" besides the main HR contact that sent you the job offer? Has my case been transferred to a new person? And she STILL didn't answer my questions about the next step in the hiring process, but maybe this new person will answer emails since I was not provided any other contact information for her.
HelpOthers This new HR rep is likely in the local area of the location where you are going to work. If the e-mail has HQ or AM in it, the person is in the USA, likely Easter time zone (KY and AL I think are the only ones in the Central time zone). EU and PAC are Europe and Pacific. Think about where you new position will be located and attempt to communicate ...See More

Mrs.C This e-mail has the same HQ ending. Does this "hand off" mean I'm done with the other HQ person? Is this a step in the right direction?

HelpOthers Yes. It seems you are moving to a person who specializes in hiring for your region.

HeART Teacher Agreed. My HR person switched as it got further along. Both my HR people were great.
