@wunschdenken - I have not received a job offer yet. I am going with my husband's job. Maybe I will have better luck once I get there! I am happy just to be going. I love living in Germany. It is truly magical!

@WA_counselor - my thoughts on buying a car in Germany is to but a German car.They are built for the autobahn and are cheaper to fix if you have problems. Just my two cents! If you want to buy a cat, I know a friend there now that wants to re-home theirs! =)
