I have heard of people storing cars. Both people said it was. It good because the cars came back damaged from being in storage. So possible, perhaps not preferable.

Depending on how long your car is in storage, it may need some major work to get it up and running again. I would definitely do some research on storing a car. I don't know anything about using temporary storage for cars or travel trailers.

The other thing to consider is that storage is generally an all or nothing type thing. It's either in, or out, and you generally cannot get/use something and then put it back (like use your car for the summer and then put it back into storage).

And it is NIT climate controlled. Military tend to be overseas only two years, but you will likely be in your location at least 5 and overseas potentially until retirement or your final 3-5 years. Most people find Everything ruined in that time period. Now you have to pay the taxes on it.
