So I haven't even applied yet but my husband and I have had several discussions about moving abroad with our elementary aged children and teaching is my career and passion.

I guess my first question is if I even have a shot at being hired.

I've been a junior high English teacher for 16 years in Massachusetts and my License is for grades 5-9 English Language Arts.

My bachelors is in English with a secondary teaching endorsement

My Masters is in K-12 Literacy

I also have a long resume for coaching a variety of sports

I would have many good references.

After reading many posts here this seems like a pretty complicated process and I'm feeling overwhelmed.

Also finally with overseas positions are employees children eligiable for enrollment at the school and is it for cost?

haha The application process is actually fairly straightforward. It's everything that comes after an offer that can be a bit overwhelming.
