Can somebody tell me about high school special education positions. Are they primarily support/inclusion positions? Are there self-contained special education classes? Is it mostly reading/math instruction? My experience is all elementary special education - self-contained and also inclusion. I wouldn't mind working in a high school as an inclusion teacher, mostly because I'm not familiar with high school curriculum. I actually think I'd like being around high school students. I could add high school special education to my certifications, possibly to increase my chances of being picked up. But, I would like to know more about high school special education positions.
haha The most common position iin MS and HS s LIMM (Learning Impaired Mild to Moderate), teaching Learning Strategies as an elective class.
