I'm moving to Japan. When I get to post will I get the option of having a po box on post like active duty personnel? Curious to know what to do with stateside mail and such. The state I'm moving from is different from where all my family is so I'd like to do a forward address to new post if I get po box. What have some of you done? Also, did you change your residence after moving overseas to a different state? Is that difficult? (No, I am not interested in. Changing to Florida for no tax)
IsItFriday? Yes.

Wait for your your orders. Immediately upon receipt of orders Google and get the contact info for the on-base post office. Contact the PO and tell them you are PCSing Inbound and want a POB. Follow their instructions and they will assign a box. Get your stateside mail forwarded, and change the mailing address on cedit cards etc.
