Are you in a 1 or 2 year RAT location? If two year, I believe that arriving in November means you will not be eligible until next summer but you should confirm it with HR.

Sheena I have a question for you. Since you began in November was your salary prorated? I remember starting in Atlanta in December my first year teaching and my salary was literally cut in half. I know that DODEA brings people on year round but I've been wondering how that affects pay.

Can't speak for Shenna but generally speaking you only get paid for the time you are on the job. So if you are only on the job for 3/4 of the year then you would only end up getting paychecks that total up to 3/4 of the stated annual salary.

Hi lady. Yes my salary was prorated and I was also a transfer from another fed gov agency on 26 pay periods. When I came on board, I was changed to 22 pay periods and did not receive pay over the summer. I was able to request 26 pay periods again in May, so at the beginning of this school year, I was back on 26. That was a huge shocker!
