In the tentative offer, they state not to make any decisions that would affect your finances negatively. I.e don't quit your job yet. Hopefully you have mentioned to your current principal at least once your interest in Dodea. It helps to explain it is a very slim chance but one you will take if it becomes available.

Thank you! I've expressedy interest in the DODEA with my principal and she knows I applied, but I'm afraid she will not be so understanding of me leaving on the middle of the year if it comes to it. Going to try not to worry about it yet.

Agree with Wilma. Generally they advise that you do not actually resign until you have a firm offer/orders in hand. Of course, you should keep your principal advised/updated on the situation (at least to some extent).
