Hi. I'm a Dodea Sub. I have my application for teachers employment opportunity. However I started my application as overseas. Change my plans when I was hired as sub, to be able to stay in my country for a few years. They changed my status to local but all I can see is overseas school countries not America and PR. I wrote several times to HR but they said, I can only apply for local or overseas, not both. There is no way I can fix this to see America's schools vacancies . What should I do? No one seems to know. Maybe I should delete my application and start from scratch? If there is any other way I will like to avoid starting from scratch. I want to be able to see PR vacancies. Thank you in advance.

Try it without spaces where I put them before and after the @ (and the .com added of course). I spaced it out since I wasn't sure whether the powers that be wanted us putting our emails in our profiles (other boards have had a problem with it).

In the meantime, make sure you are showing your status as Worldwide on the Personal section BEFORE you go to look for the DDESS locations (like PR) on the Target Date and Location section. You should then be able to see the DoDEA Overseas and DDESS Stateside and PR tabs where you can make your selections.

No problem. It depends on what locations you really want to be considered for right now. It looks like if you want to be considered just for Americas/PR you would leave it set to Worldwide, but with only the places you want to go checked/selected.
