What are the chances that some excess teacher arent found new positions and let go? I am new to all this so any insight from others would be amazing.

A debt letter is a notice from the gov't (usually from DFAS) that they believe that you were overpaid at some point in your gov't career. We had one during our 2nd year where they said we owed $3000 from unpaid health insurance premiums.
