Hi!

I have very slim hopes for getting on this year (you never know.. i guess!, and am looking towards next year!

I'm working on my Masters and ESL endorsement (should have ESL by dec of this year). The esl endorsement would be k-12, so even more flexibility! I am attending AP French training this summer to add some quals.

Just curious, is there a large number of ESL students in the DODD schools? Is it similar to most public schools, where there is always a need? Thanks guys!
haha It varies wildly in my experience but there always seem to be enough for at least a .5 ESL teacher (combined with something else or even split between two schools). Many schools have 1.0 ESL teacher and some even have 1.5 or 2.0 staff for (although this is rarer from what I see/hear).

Icanread Yes, we have ESL students. Because we live in another country, we sometimes have children who come not speaking any English (often one American parent and one local parent). iowatoabroadhopeful Thanks, both of you! I emailed EAS my program of study, and they said that it should be okay. I also called when I had another question, and the lady mentioned that if I get the state certification in ESL, that the number of credits needed is half if I have that. So, fingers crossed that's all true! Thanks for the clarification!
