Your application is active. When a principal requests a list of people to interview, your name might be on the referral list of people. In which case you will get an email stating that (usually). The principals take the list and decide how many they want to interview. So you might be contacted to interview if you maybe make a referral list.

I agree that it sounds a bit vague as to what she actually meant. While you had her on the phone you maybe should have made sure she pulled up your actual file and was telling you that you would still be eligible for referral lists with your EAS in it's current status (if you haven't already).

Sounds like the person is saying your application is complete and the next step is to wait for your name to appear on a referral list.
