I've had several referrals also. Yokosuko Middle contacted me for an interview and also emailed references, but I turned down that interview. I'm curious to see if I'll get another interview request.

@HopefulTeacher, glad you turned down an interview for a place you definitely did not want to go, but I think Yokosuka is such a great area that you may have missed a great opportunity.

Just checking in. Did anybody get an interview request for a gifted position? Or how about special education positions? The school year has started, but Mary said there are still openings. I'm going to wait another month and then start my Plan B. :)

I received several Sped referrals and interview request. However, they where mostly stateside.
