Your certification would give you a good chance in different areas and grade levels which is always helpful. But context is everything. What does "good chance" mean?

On 16JU2017, I received an official "suitable for framing" NASA rejection letter for the 2017 Astronaut Class. I was one of over 18,000 qualified applicants, but was not one of the 12 selected - a 0.06 % chance. Your chance of being a DoDEA hire is better than a NASA astronaut hire. It's impossible to make accurate predictions or put any kind of meaningful number on anyone's chances. No one (at least none of us) knows how many teachers will be hired in a given year but it is almost certainly less than 400.
