I'm assuming so RJ, but I'm newer to the position so I haven't tried it yet.

You must satisfy your travel agreement and can only apply through USA Jobs. ISSes have had significant difficulty moving from ISS back to school-level and from one location to another. However, ISSes seem to be able to go to CIL, which technically is also a lateral move.

The movement of ISSes is really only an issue for those overseas. I don't know that they have these same constraints when moving from a stateside location.

CIL= Center for Instructional Leadership. They provide professional development to administrators and sometimes to ISSes. They have less direct contact with other school staff.
