1. I have been following this board since Feb 19. was referred to SHAPE but no interview. High School Math, Physics, CTE, ad nauseum. To be competitive, should I bite the bullet and pursue AP Calculus AB/BC? Been awhile since I have looked at that stuff. Do most HS math positions need it?
2. Does anyone know how the diversion of funds from DODEA to the wall will affect teacher allotment for next year? (Not wanting to start a firestorm here. Just want to know if it will affect employment chances.)

Sure. Principals (like most employers) would prefer to hire people with direct, relevant experience doing the job they are being hired for. Unless it is some rare combination of certs, any open position will likely have numerous qualified candidates in the system that the hiring principal would be able to choose from. Sorry, one more. I hope this isn't a stupid question, but how does updating your target locations on EAS work? I just went to add a few, and the asterisk says:

I believe whatever new locations you select, should just get added to your previous locations. You should be able to easily check if that is the case once you click on the I understand.. and take the next step. Either way, you change and adjust locations at will and so any issue should be easily fixable.
