Obviously not speaking from first hand experience, but based on the salary schedule and posted info. on USA jobs, the money doesn't seem that much better, although I guess it would depend on education and experience. I'm just comparing what I'm getting and what I was offered for DODEA Amercias. My hourly rate right now is $45.xx and my DODEA hourly will be $43.xx (xx b/c I cannot remember specifics). 15 years is nice and definitely would make a difference. Yes, that is a disadvantage about DoDEA Americas (5 years vs. 10 years for DoDEA overseas).
