If you do get a job stateside, most of the time they will not pay for your relocation correct?
Will they pay for housing or COLA?
How do they break down the pay scale for each location stateside or is it computed by degrees and endorsements one may have ?
Sorry about all the questions, I am debating on whether or not I should select some stateside locations along with the overseas locations I have selected.

Opinions and experiences vary wildly. Some people have had success with joining stateside and then getting hired for overseas DoDEA. Others, not so much. You also have to consider that if you already have 10 years of non fed teaching experience, every year you are working outside of the system doesn't count toward pay inside. So, by taking a domestic position now you would bank years of experience if you did get picked up for a foreign post in the future.
