This will be my 3rd year applying for the DODEA overseas. I have 9 qualifications on EAS as of now and am working on adding another by April. Please give me any advice or words of wisdom to help me feel better about this process and see that there is still hope. I had several interviews this past summer, like 5, but they were all for positions that I am qualified for but have no actual experience in. I have a feeling that the subjects/areas I do have experience in have many many applicants. I also fear that my supervisors are not giving me the best recommendations. I'm worried this dream will never come to fruition.

This may seem silly... but one thing that seems to trigger referrals is deleting and resubmitting all your file attachments.

At the sam...See More

Lindsey Hello BeyondHopeful I would say don't give up. I also have been in the system for over 2 years. Almost the entire first year I was still pending though. In November I took off my transcripts and uploaded them again. I received my first referral almost immediately after. That led to my offer. I agree that when a position becomes available that you h...See More

Just Me Thank you so much for your feedback and positivity. I am definitely not giving up. Hopefully I will get an interview in an area I have experience in and it will go well! Fingers Crossed!
