I've read so many posts state you are TOLD when to interview, and although 6am isn't early for me, I have a contract job that I teach online during that time and I fix my schedule for 2 weeks ahead. If I cancel class, my contract may not renew after a certain # of cancellations. I've never thought about it until now bc I only ever thought of taking off work from school for interviews where I'm salaried and have the days to take off without penalty.

Interviews vary depending on the principal. When I interviewed for a position in Spain, the principal suggested some different times and then asked for some options from me if his didn't work.
