My burning question is... are here any tests that I can take and get the teacher license right the way?? I've a BA & MA & getting my 30th graduate credit. The HR told me that since I don't have a state license, I have to take extra courses and new praxis if I want to be qualified for certain certificates. But the thing is... my original BA/MA/graduate courses are enough, in terms of hours and content, for those certs... In fact, I did a lot of search and emailed many people about some alternative teacher pathways, but they didn't seem to lead anyway. Appreciate any feedback!
haha Depends on the state. Every state has their own requirements for obtaining a state license. Check with your state of residence. There are likely other states that would let you test into a certificate with your degrees and coursework. Vermont and New Jersey used to offer that option (I believe).

Snow Lane Check Florida. They used to be pretty easy and I doubt the process has changed.
