Hello, does anyone have any information about the role of a Compensatory Math teacher and does every campus have at least one?

Jen79 Thank you so much for the info. I applied for the position and didn't qualify, even though I have a master's in teaching math. I was just curious about what the actual job description was. You were very helpful. :)

Icanread The credits for the compensatory math certification must be from a math department. They cannot be education classes about teaching math. Many of the elementary schools have a math specialist, but it is no longer a requirement for the math specialist to have the compensatory math certification. Jen79 Okay, I need one more class to qualify for that position. That *Not Qualified" note blew my mind lol. Thanks for the info. I'll have to decide now if I'll take another math class.:)
