@SnowLane I was always curious about the points system and ranking applicants. what would put someone higher/more competitive than a veteran? How would he/she rank higher (year of experience, spouse)? TIA!

I think maybe its good we don't know the point system, that would just be something else to obsess over!

Not sure how accurate that info is in regards to veterans. I am a veteran (regular 5 point) and was not hired the candidate who was hired was not a veteran.

I still don't know how they score or rank people. I don't mean that the veteran ranks higher (though they do) just that no one below the veteran can be offered the position without offering it to the veteran. If a veteran is the 25th person on the list, everyone above them can be offered it first. I've been told this by two different administrators...See More
