I've since told my husband to pick up my phone when I am not near it! Along with my application I must have also signed up for a seat on an emotional roller coaster!

Couple of Questions
Whether it shows up as an international number or not just depends on how that person calls you. I agree with others, definitely answer the phone. They're generally not calling just one person. No Simply realistic. Teachers are a dime a dozen. There are about 2 million of them in the US.
Principals are busy with all sorts of ridiculous issues generated by District and everyone else above them in the chain of command.
