Another question about salary...I've seen some conflicting information on here. After I earned my BA, I started taking classes towards a MA. I ended up moving and didn't finish that degree, but I earned 15 credits. I later completed a different MA. Since earning my MA, I have earned another 15 credits. Would DoDEA count me as MA+30? Most school systems I'm familiar with only will not, but I've heard that FEA won a grievance against DoDEA that requires them to do this. True?

I believe that the federal would be added onto the max of ten years non-DoDEA teaching experience, but can't be certain.
Yes, it also does sound like you would be at Masters +30. As long as the other graduate credits were not part the Masters you are using for qualifying for the Masters salary lane, they should work for Masters +30.

If the HQ experience was in the education field, yes, those two years should be credited on top of the maximum, so starting step 13 (step 11+2).
