My long term goal is to move overseas, I don't really care where, I just have not wanted to stay in the states since I got out of the military. I am in special education and got masters plus.
My question is how hard would it be to get an overseas position? Will I be stuck stateside a long time? I am leaving a hire paying job with good benefits and retirement, but its not about the money for me and more about finding the right place, something that has been lacking for me since getting out of the military.

I really want to get overseas Or else I feel like I'll just wind up taking one of tbe university jobs... But teaching overseas is the dream

Well, you sound like you have a strong application, which is all you can really control.
Have you thought about international schools? They won't have the military aspect but would likely get you overseas faster.
