Turn down EAS for USAJOB?

I have applications in for Admin positions on USAJOBS. Today, I was asked to interview for a teaching position from my application in EAS. If I were to accept the interview and get an offer, would this hinder my possibility of interviewing/getting an offer from my admin USA Jobs application? I know it would for two jobs from EAS, but I'm not sure about EAS's interaction with USAJOBS. I know this is an optimistic problem, but just needing to clarify. Thanks!

Icanread I am pretty sure that there are others on here with more information than I have, but I am pretty sure you can receive an offer for admin and a teacher position because they are two separate application processes. haha No definitive information/experience, but I would agree what has been posted. The processes/positions seem to be on different tracks/levels. The timing of any potential interviews/offers etc. makes it a bit more complicated, but I would think that admin trumps teacher in most every case.

educatormama I interviewed for an admin position thru USA jobs, didn't hear anything for months then interviewed and accepted a teaching position through EAS. Then a few weeks after accepting my teaching position, I was offered the admin position. I got to choose which one I wanted to take.

H educatormama, thanks for responding. That's interesting that it would've taken so long to get the offer. Do you know why it took so long? Also, do you remember how long it took between the time you were referred to the hiring manager and the time you were offered an interview? Thanks!

educatormama They didn't say why it took so long to offer me the position, my guess is that they offered it to someone else first and for some reason it didn't work out. I received a referral at the end of Feb, interviewed in April, offered position in August.
