So, I had an interview with the principal in Bahrain. She was very pleasant to interview with. I do not have anybody that would need to join me, so that works out for me. However, she informed me (and I saw the post on USAJOBS) that they are hiring for this position internally. She also said that another company helps with the hiring and she gives recommendations. Knowing that would you not say it is fairly certain that someone that already works for DoDEA would get the position? It is called a mixed position. One teacher is needed in Kindergarten and I think one in 4th or 5th grade.
haha If it was definite that they were hiring internally, they wouldn't have to bother with USA Jobs and interviewing CONUS hires. So, there is a chance.

She was probably referring to CHRA (Civilian Human Resource Agency). It is another agency but still with the DoD and is handling hiring rather than DoDEA HR folks. The standard line has alway...See More

ecd5 CHRA can be sticklers to the job description. So that's a hard one. They will most likely look to see if you meet all the requirements (including already being in the agency). However, you might be in luck if there aren't any other candidates.

Icanread Having no dependents could work to you advantage! I saw that there was an internal posting for that job, and I would love to go to Bahrain. But I have three dependents.
