They sent the retrench forms to your supervisors or they called/emailed them? The stories I've seen about references are concerning when I see different admin doing different things...some not checking at all, some contacting after the interview with the same form from EAS, and now..contacting admin before a referral or interview is even scheduled?...See More

If the school had your name, you were on a referral list and they are not responsible for notifying you of the referral, that is an HR glitch or in your junk e-mail.
