Is it possible to be hired for a position that you are certified/qualified for, but have no formal experience in? For example, if you interview for a Library Information Specialist position, is it possible to get the position if you've never actually done it?

Ida As long as you are qualified in EAS for a category you could be interviewed and hired for it.
