Any virtual school positions going out?

Curious if anyone has got calls or interviews for virtual high school? I am in Japan, so I checked all the schools in my area under "target locations" as a "local hire applicant." I also checked "virtual school" under the "target job." But the thing is, there are 3 different locations (Japan/ Germany/VA) for the virtual high school positions as advertised in USAJOBS before. How does the system/ HR know which virtual location that I want to be considered? I want to be considered for Germany's virtual position, besides the one in Japan, but is that even possible? I can't choose my local schools if I choose Germany, can I? Thanks!!

Ida I agree haha. I think the virtual school will continue to grow regardless of troop movements. Many schools (even large ones) rely on the VS to provide classes that can't be offered in the school building.

1234567Ffm I also applied for the Virtual Position also. I am qualified for Spanish and German. Waiting for ESL paperwork to be evaluated. I just realized that the qualification in EAS for not updated for Vitual Teaching. Not sure if this makes a difference. I dont want totake any changes.They updated right away. 1234567Ffm I think virtual is a great way to offer and take classes. I hapo Ida is right and virtual continues to grown. I don't think we can go back, COV 19 has changed a lot of this in education. Shawna11 Madrid10, are you saying virtual teaching was reviewed and updated as qualified in EAS? I applied for virtual for ELA,and nothing has been updated. I am hoping there will be some internal hires and then the internal vacancies can also be an option for us outside the system.

1234567Ffm Shawna11, I was qualified for German and Spanish as a regular teacher. Then I also checked into Virtual Teacher.
