Has anybody heard about one of the computer science openings yet?

yea i was asking that! I am wondering what elements are more important for the virtual positions: having tech courses on my transcripts? having the years of experiences teaching the subject area? Do you have many tech courses?

It seems like the referrals for the virtual jobs are completely random, not accounting for years of experience and # content certifications. I'm not sure of what they're using to generate the lists. I don't believe they read each EAS with virtual listed and combed through their tech classes listed.

The only insight I have is from supporting SPED students (and even co-facilitating a few classes) who are taking virtual classes.

My area of experience is German, Spanish and ESL. I learned during these months about online teaching. Swing or sink. For sure DoDEA they have a system and curriculum, and as a teacher you follow by helping students with the tools you are given. I think, feedback and moderation. Lets see...
