I got two separate referral emails (different referral list numbers) on different dates. But they are for the same position at the same school. Does it mean there are different HR looking at my application, and they happen to be recommending me at the same time?

In the emails, they said, "your name may be referred for multiple vacancies simultaneously." Does it mean that even though my referral list is about a maths position, I can still be considered for science and whatever as long as I am qualified and the school has those vacancies?

Is it possible that I have an interview for a maths position, but end up being placed for a science position at the same school? How likely would that be? Thank you very much for your input!
HelpOthers Even people within a school can end up teaching different grade levels or different subjects depending on the need of the school so yes it is a possibility as long as it's an area where you are qualified.

IsItFriday? Nobody knows why you got two separate referral emails for the same position. It's not important. You could call HR for an explanation. Whatever line they throw at you will sound reasonable, but upon reflection you see through the excuse, and recognize it for what it probably is, a mistake.
