I know there are mixed ideas on whether when applying for a teacher position about whether to reach out to a building principal. Any thoughts about this practice when applying for a principal/assistant principal position? Would it be a good idea to contact a superintendent or principal in this situation?

HelpOthers The earlier response was for "Aiid Interview."

Likely the superintendent and other DSO leadership are the ones hiring the principals. They are 10-20x more busy than principals are, expecially right now with the COVID-19 meetings with their military command and HQ,etc..

oldshack @HelpOthers...Well I just submitted my application, and then read your post. I did not submit a 6 page federal resume. In fact, I just learned that such a thing existed haha, Well live and learn I guess.
