haha We are in Japan and have also been in Europe with DoDEA (and several other countries prior to that with int'l schools).

haha Japan has been our favorite (any of the bases near Tokyo would be great). We also enjoyed Europe (most any of the locations would be just fine). Turkey, Cuba, Bahrain are some of the places generally considered hardship/undesirable by many people (but mostly by people who have never lived there). HelpOthers We love Japan. I lived in Ankara, Turkey as a 9th-10th grader and LOVED it. However, the political culture has changed considerably and I think teachers are not permitted to bring dependent children now. My family lived in Madrid Spain when I was a toddler and LOVED it, but I have heard that the DoDEA location is rather isolated.
