I honestly want to know. Will hiring be effected or closing of bases? Not looking for arguments about which candidate is better etc.

Given the Hatch Act, we don't normally talk about politics at work. Outside of work, some are outspoken about their political views, which vary just as much as the general population. Some think that Biden will be more supportive of the union and strengthen ties with countries where we have bases. I think it's hard to predict right now.

The answer will vary widely depending on your perspective. In general, the active duty military tend to lean right, so a majority of rank and file probably wanted wanted Trump (but probably not as large of a percentage as he thought or as there would have been in the past).
