That is disappointing to hear. Having a specific intervention program for dyslexic students is crucial! DODEA uses a program based on junk science to teach kids to read.
HelpOthers
Even schools outside DoDEA shy from naming specific programs in their IEPs. They also serve SLD in reading based on the specific needs of the student. Even students with "Dyslexia" do not all have the same exact needs.
