I found commercial return flights from the US to Okinawa with a connection in Korea. Would this be a possible way to avoid having to ROM in Tokyo and Okinawa? Or would Korea make us ROM also?

The rotator is not an option.
Icanread That's a really great question! Curious to know the answer. The guidance that came out yesterday said that we can reserve tickets on the patriot express, but I have never flown that way and I'm nervous about it.

HelpOthers That will depend on Japan's (and Korea's) regulations. They have been only allowing international flights to enter into Tokyo and people cannot continue onto other commercial flights without having completed ROM. If they allowed a direct flight to OKI or to other parts of Japan, that would be different from what they have previously permitted.

IsItFriday? I'm really not sure why you're asking that question here. Most posters are school teachers and this webpage is the equivalent of the water cooler in the teacher's lounge.

You should NOT seek advice on official Gov guideline/regulations/laws at the water cooler.

Google is your friend.

Cookie Thanks for the info. At times, I prefer asking on this platform because I like my privacy. This is a great starting point and the you provided is very helpful.

IsItFriday? Fair point. Asking the wrong question at work can put a target on your back.
