I am wondering if you can enter as a teacher and move up to an admin role? If you are certified..of course.

IsItFriday? Admin most definitely do return to teaching positions. It happens more often than may be implied in the brief posts above.

The movement of Admin back into teaching positions generally isn't broadcast or shared with everybody. For example, there won't be a press release.

LolaTeach Sometimes admin will take a teaching position to move to an ideal location. It's not always for a negative reason.

haha Yes. But it's more likely to that an AP would be hired from outside than a principal (in my knowledge and experience, but anything is possible).

HelpOthers @TeacherToAdmin, moving from the classroom to ISS or admin position is considered a promotion and is one way that people are able to move to new locations without a transfer round. I believe those positions are usually applied for through USA Jobs rather than EAS, so that is one reason that movements occur.
