It's pretty simple. Only accept an interview/job where you want to stay for a while. If you would like to work in multiple locations, you'll have to either go stateside a year or two, accept a hardship location if available, or get a promotion to another overseas location.

I agree with ecd5. A transfer round it not looking likely in the near future and if it were to occur would not look like it has in the past.
