Wondering if anyone has heard anything about the transfer round in 2022? It would be nice to have one... I heard that local hires (e.g. hired in Korea) can no longer pick up LQA after they move to a new installation. (e.g. move from Korea to UK) unless they are excessed. Is that right? Thanks!
haha Pretty much. Excessed or some other management directed (not voluntary) move.

As for the transfer round, anything is possible but it is not looking good under current management. They have made noises about some version coming back (which sounds basically like there is a list of openings and you have to apply/interview for them) but no one...See More

IsItFriday? Whatever HQ puts in place won't be funded properly.

There hasn't been a properly funded transfer round in ten years.

Mr. Money at HQ can make a big announcement about a transfer round this spring, but unless he opens his purse, it won't amount to anything.

Slcjkl I don't know if it's true, but from what I've been told, there are just three "hardship" schools that are considered for transfer. Ankara, Bahrain, and one more that I'm forgetting (I think a school in Italy).
