Do teachers who volunteer to be excessed get a choice on where they would like to go?

haha Basically agree. You can express a preference, but…they will generally place you where it is most convenient and/or the cheapest for them.

But, also, you never know. Depending on the location/region/district, year, the number of excesses, one's subject area(s), some people do get placed where they actually want to go.

Ms.C If you are on a two year tour and are excessed after 1 year and say no, do you have to repay anything?

Icanread That's a good question for HR. You signed a mobility agreement and transportation agreement so I'm assuming that the answer would be "yes, you have to repay if you don't fulfill the agreement."
